About

Where complexity becomes direction.

Fifteen-plus years across banking, high-tech, medical technology and precision manufacturing — spent learning one craft from three sides: how regulated organisations actually run, how to give them governable structure, and how to move them forward. Three acts, one direction.

Act I

Regulated operations

2007 – 2021 · Leica Geosystems · SwissOptic · Ivoclar Vivadent · Safran Vectronix

Before designing systems for regulated environments, I ran them. SAP-based production planning for high-precision optics in clean rooms — PP, MM, SD and QM, master data, BOMs, routings. End-to-end order-to-cash for a global dental leader. Export control, sanctions compliance and dangerous-goods documentation for a defence and security manufacturer, working directly with customs authorities.

This is where compliance stopped being an abstraction: when a tariff classification, an ADR declaration or a missing export licence halts a shipment, governance is suddenly very concrete. Operational reality became my baseline — every framework I have implemented since gets tested against it.

Act II

The architecture of governance

2021 – 2026 · bbz st.gallen · Sora Bank · Sigma Bank

The move into banking began with industry events and a bank-wide rebranding — then became transformation proper. At Sigma Bank, reporting to the COO, I lead IT, governance and regulatory transformation programmes in private banking: a zero-downtime multi-vendor SaaS core-banking migration, parallel-run and transition design, cloud exit strategy, third-party risk.

I digitised and operationalised the Change Advisory Board, built data-driven SLA oversight and audit cycles, prepared DORA incident governance for formal reporting readiness, and co-developed the enterprise AI governance framework on the EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF and ISO/IEC 42001 — stress-tested against real use cases, including RAG-based compliance assistants.

The pivot · Act II → Act III

Mid-programme, a no-code project built during the Master's degree changed the question. If governed workflows could be composed rather than coded, what happens when the components can reason? That question — not a job title — is what pulled the work towards agentic systems.

Act III

The agentic future

2024 → · MSc Business Information Technology, OST · Digital Finance

Now the two tracks run in parallel: transformation leadership by day, a Master's in Business Information Technology (Digital Finance) alongside. The focus: multi-agent systems and AI orchestration with governance designed in — safety frameworks, GRC-integrated controls, evaluation patterns — because the organisations that will use agentic AI first are exactly the regulated ones that can't afford to improvise.

This website is part of that argument: the dashboard, the agent showcase and the arcade are live evidence, not claims. The direction is the intersection where strategy, systems and intelligent technology meet — the CIO track.
